Humorous Compliments

There are compliments which are scarcely serious, they are paid either out of boredom or just because somebody wants to mock at his or her fellow. They are at times flirty and imply certain appreciation which comes from an appreciator who is too shy to express his feelings in an openly serious manner.

Sometimes humorous compliments mean nothing at all, in this case they are just boredom-killers. They usually come from people who want to strangle their boredom with your innocent hands i.e. at your expense having nobody else around but you to mock at. Certain funny compliments veil negative attitude to this or that person which shouldn't be expressed at full swing due to some important reasons.

Some funny compliments can relate to pick-up lines which are compliments in a way. There are thousands of them, here are a few examples: 'Is it hot here or is it just you?', 'Are you lost ma'm? 'Cause Heaven is far away from here!', 'Do you have a map? I just got lost in your eyes', 'Excuse me, but I think I dropped something – my jaw!', and the funniest one is 'I was so amazed by your heavenly beauty that I ran into that wall over there. That's why I need your name and telephone number for insurance purposes'.

As you can see, there are subtypes of humorous compliments as well – depending on 'their' purposes and intentions. In any case, judging by the examples above, they are all fun!
